Gwango Heritage Resort is one of the few places on the planet where rustic charm and chic decor combine to resemble an African village in the wilderness. Unwind poolside at our upstairs splash pool, where the spectacle of elephants quenching their thirst is mere meters away, or dine with us and enjoy an experience that's as vibrant and diverse as the landscape that surrounds us.
We are located in a lush teak forest, on a private estate at the edge of Hwange National Park. Our quality accommodations include 8 Deluxe Chalets, each with two double beds and 20 Bush Chalets, each with two twin beds. All our guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms.
The resort is easily accessible by road (no 4x4 vehicle is necessary). On-site, overlooking an elephant waterhole is our popular restaurant, Gobelo Marketplace, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. You can also reserve safari activities, farm tours, horseback safaris and other adventures through our front office. You can also bring your own tent and camp in one of our self-catering campsites.
