Cape Town, city Center
We will start our day with a collection at our pick up point or at your hotel in and around City of Cape Town, at approximately 07H50am. Collection will be in a sedan, SUV vehicle or a mini bus depending on the size of the group

Stony Point to view the African colony Penguins
We begin by traveling along the N2 to Stony Point to view the African colony Penguins from very close range, one of the largest colonies of penguins in Africa. Stony Point Penguin Colony is home to one of the largest successful breeding colonies of African Penguin in the world. Located in the quaint coastal town of Betty’s Bay in the Overberg, the Stony Point Nature Reserve is home to a unique colony of African Penguins. It offers the public the chance to see these wonderful flightless birds up close, via the boardwalk through the colony, which allows the public to observe the penguins go about their daily activities in their natural habitat, without disturbing or disrupting them.

Hemel-en-Aarde wine region
Next, we'll journey towards Hermanus, where you'll have the opportunity to indulge in a wine tasting experience at one of the estates nestled in the Hemel-en-Aarde wine region. At Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate, situated in one of Africa's southernmost wine regions and closest to the sea, you'll discover pioneering viticulture and winemaking. Located in the picturesque and cool maritime Hemel-en-Aarde Valley appellation, just beyond the quaint fishing village of Hermanus, this estate promises a memorable tasting experience amidst stunning surroundings.

Hermanus shopping center
We will then proceed to the town of Hermanus for lunch stop (at your own expense) and free walk in Hermanus, or at the seaside. If it is during whale season, you will have an option to do some whale-watching in Hermanus. Hermanus was the First established as a farming community, this sunny well-located town remains a popular holiday hub. Sitting on the edge of Walker Bay, this small coastal town offers a bewitching array of experiences. Whales and Great White Sharks, the most diverse Floral Kingdom in the world, mountain walks and unspoilt beaches, secluded forests, crashing surf, lagoons and a hidden valley so beautiful it’s named ‘Heaven and Earth. Public art and sculptures at Gearings Point complement the artistic offerings of the many galleries that forms an art walk.

Cape Agulhas
After lunch, make your way to Cape Agulhas, where you will walk the pathway that leads to the official meeting point of the two oceans (Indian and Atlantic oceans) and take some pictures.

Agulhas lighthouse
From here, we will go on to explore the Agulhas lighthouse, which is one of the oldest in South Africa and situated at the southernmost tip of Africa. A lighthouse at Cape Agulhas was suggested by Colonel Charles Collier Michell, the Surveyor-General of the Cape, in March 1837. A public meeting at Cape Town on 11 July 1840 resolved to raise funds for the construction of the lighthouse, and Michiel van Breda, the founder of Bredasdorp, offered to donate the land on which it was to be built.

Agulhas National Park
After exploring the Agulhas National Park, We will head back to CapeTown city for a drop off at your accommodation at approximately 18:00 pm. Caledon is famous for its hot springs, discovered by the early Khoi-Khoi people before the Europeans attributed healing properties to the iron-rich waters and opened a sick house and later a sanatorium, which was destroyed by fire. The seven springs, one of which is cold and the other six thermal, are warmed by contact with rocks heated by pressure deep under the ground to a steady temperature of 49.5° Celsius. Interestingly, the waters of Caledon are also free of any organic matter and when submitted, in 1893, to the Chicago World Fair, they were awarded first prize as the world’s top quality mineral waters.

No, you don’t need to contact us. We’ll send your pickup time after 6 PM the day before your tour.
