Important information

Itinerary

1
Cape Town, city Center
We will start our day with a collection at our pick up point or at your hotel in and around City of Cape Town, at approximately 06H50am. Collection will be in a sedan, SUV vehicle or a mini bus depending on the size of the group
2
Hermanus
Upon arriving at Hermanus Harbour, guests will be asked to sign a consent form and given a safety briefing before boarding the boat for a Whale Watching excursion. The trip will last about 2 to 3 hours. During the journey, a marine biologist will provide detailed information about the whales, including why they visit our shores at this time of year and some of their common behaviors. Our boat can hold up to 80 people, but we limit it to 65 for a better experience. Southern right whales are curious creatures and often approach the boats, allowing guests to get a closer look at these massive animals, some weighing up to 50 tons, which is like 10 fully grown African elephants! After returning from Whale Watching, we'll head to Hermanus town center for shopping and lunch(at your own expense) before continuing to our next stop
3
Hemel-en-Aarde wine region
From there, we will travel towards the Hermanus where you will enjoy a wine tasting at one of the estates in the Hemel-en-Aarde wine region. Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate– one of the most southerly wine Estates in Africa and one of the closest to the sea – pioneered viticulture and winemaking in the beautiful, cool, maritime Hemel-en-Aarde Valley appellation, just behind the old fishing village of Hermanus.
4
Stony Point, African colony Penguins
Our final destination will be Stony Point, where you'll have the chance to observe African colony penguins up close. This site boasts one of the largest penguin colonies in Africa, providing a unique opportunity to witness these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Stony Point Penguin Colony is renowned for being one of the largest and most successful breeding colonies of penguins on the continent.
